Call for Advice

Due to the issues with Corona virus and government guidelines, it is with regret that Bracknell Citizens Advice will be closing its face-to-face service from Tuesday 17th March 2020 until further notice. The health and well-being of our volunteers is paramount to us, so we have made this difficult decision in order to protect them and ensure their safety.

However, we will still be offering a telephone service, both for new enquiries, but also existing enquiries.

For all NEW enquiries, please call Adviceline on: 03 444 111 306 (please note this is not a Bracknell Area Code number)

For any client returning about an on-going issue, please call our Appointments Line and leave a message on the answering machine giving your name, date of birth, post code, and phone number, so that we can find your notes and arrange for an adviser to call you: 01344 418997

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.

Call our helpline on:

03 444 111 306

This is a UK wide geographic number. Calls cost no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02).

Due to limited resources we are not always able to answer calls and apologise if you are unable to get through quickly.

What we do for you

We will normally spend a short time obtaining basic details about your issue and planning how we can help you. This short discussion is called a “gateway”. During this gateway phone call you may be asked to visit one of our
offices for further assistance, depending on the urgency and complexity of your problem. However, we are often
able to help immediately, by posting suitable leaflets, or directing you to online advice during this initial call.

If you need to visit us for further assistance after your initial phone call, this will be for a fixed length appointment at an agreed time.  Please bring all relevant paperwork with you. We are also able to offer phone-back appointments if you are unable to visit one of our offices in person.
