Citizens Advice Bracknell & District is a small independent charity. We provide free, independent, impartial and confidential advice to help local people with their practical problems, including benefits, debt, housing and employment. Our work often improves our clients’ financial situation but also contributes to improving their health, reducing their stress and helping them to manage their own problems. We support over 2,700 local people each year.
Our Assessors are normally the first point of access for Citizens Advice clients, and they give initial advice and support.
We are recruiting for a part time Telephone Assessor.
Job title: Telephone Assessor
Contract: Up to 30 x hours per week, days and hours to be agreed, but preferably to include Fridays. (Fixed term for 12 months)
Salary: £11.28 per hour (FTE £22,000 p.a.)
Location: Remote working initially – Bracknell based when office re-opens – or with option to continue remote working
Reports to: Operational Managers
Purpose: To provide advice and support to clients over the phone and by email.
